Pick up your phone and become your own switchboard, exploring messages collected from local late-night callers. Hear their serenades, secrets, confessions of love, peculiar memories, and perhaps a vent or two. What you’ll hear is never certain — only that you hold the power to shape your own journey.
As you sink deeper into this velvet night, the voices may seem to step out of the machine. The distance between sleepless speakers and attentive listeners begins to fade. The night may be dark, but in this space, no one is truly alone.
An intimate and evocative production from director Roslyn Oades, known for her groundbreaking documentary work, and internationally acclaimed, ARIA Award-winning sound artist Bob Scott, The Nightline is a unique, immersive listening experience. Take a seat at a table for one, lift the receiver, and let the night draw you into a richer, deeper way of listening.
